Domestic Gas Engineer – Cambridge
Location: Cambridge & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Van & Fuel Card: Provided
ARC is currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a small, established maintenance contractor based in Cambridge. This is a permanent position for an experienced Gas Engineer who is happy working across Cambridge and the surrounding areas and enjoys working for a smaller company where you can become a valued member of the team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out domestic gas and heating maintenance across a range of properties throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
The role will include:
Carrying out domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs
Diagnosing faults and completing remedial works
Working on domestic gas appliances
Completing relevant paperwork and service records
Providing a professional service to customers
Travelling between jobs across Cambridge and surrounding areas
Working safely and in accordance with current regulations
Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements
Relevant Gas Safe qualifications
Domestic gas qualifications and experience
Appropriate appliance tickets for the work required
Proven experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer
Full UK Driving Licence
Happy to travel across Cambridge and surrounding areas
Good customer-facing skills and a professional approach
Domestic Gas Engineer Package:
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum
