CNC Miller – Fanuc / 5-Axis
Location: Bristol / Frome
Salary: £17–£20 per hour DOE
Type: Full-Time
The Role
A well-established precision engineering company is looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join their growing precision engineering team. The role will focus on Fanuc-controlled machining centres and 5-axis machining, producing high-precision components for demanding industries including aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate Fanuc CNC milling machines
* Set and run 5-axis machining centres
* Load programs and make offset adjustments
* Read engineering drawings and machine to tight tolerances
* Self-inspect using precision measuring equipment
* Maintain high quality and production standards

Requirements
* CNC Milling Setter/Operator experience
* Fanuc controls experience
* 5-axis machining experience – essential
* Strong engineering drawing ability
* Experience machining precision components
* Confident using inspection equipment
* Fusion 360 experience advantageous
* Aerospace / AS9100 experience advantageous
