Food Production Operative - Perm Role

Staffline is recruiting Skilled Production Operatives in Market Drayton. The rate of pay is: - Days £13.05 - £19.58 per hour - Nights £15.12 - £22.68 per hour This is a full-time role, working on a fixed rota, 4 on 4 off. The hours of work are: - 6am to 6pm - 6pm to 6am Successful candidates will be employed by Staffline during a 12-week probationary period before transferring onto a permanent contract with our client. Your Time at Work As a Skilled Production Operative your duties include: - Packing products into trays - Erecting trays - Working on fast-paced production lines to meet quality and performance targets - Completing product documentation and compliance checks - Accurately weighing products and recording information - Operating production machinery Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Skilled Production Operative will be reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment. You will have: - A good standard of English, both written and verbal - Clear handwriting and attention to detail for accurately completing production paperwork - Good numerical skills for weighing products and recording measurements - Basic computer skills and confidence using production systems - A proactive approach to work and a strong focus on quality and food safety - Work at pace Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing or processing environment is essential. Experience operating machinery or working as a Machine Operative is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.
