Production Operative

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED, INCLUDING OVERHEAD CRANE AND FLT TRAINING Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd (IRS) is recruiting for Production / Machine Operators to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with full training provided and a significant pay increase once fully trained and qualified. Hours Monday to Friday, working weekly rotating shifts: * 06:00 – 14:00 * 14:00 – 22:00 Pay * £14.93 per hour during the training and probationary period * £17.94 per hour once fully trained and qualified Job Duties * Setting and operating machinery * Loading coils onto the slitting lines * Monitoring machine performance throughout production * Carrying out product inspections and quality checks * Operating an overhead crane following successful training * Operating an FLT following successful training * Ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area * Reporting any machine faults or quality concerns Requirements * Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred * Experience within slitting, steel processing or coil processing would be advantageous but is not essential * Willingness to complete overhead crane and FLT training * Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping * Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team * Good attention to detail * Strong awareness of workplace health and safety * Able to work weekly rotating shifts Benefits * Full training provided * Overhead crane and FLT training * Increased hourly rate once fully qualified * Weekly pay * Immediate start available * Temp-to-permanent opportunity * Long-term work with an established manufacturing company * Ongoing support from IRS Industrial Recruitment Solutions (IRS) is acting as an Employment Business for the purposes of this job advertisement.
