Utility Surveyor Location Wakefield Salary £30K – £42K The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Utility Surveyor to join a reputable consultancy that focuses on delivering utility surveying projects in the Yorkshire area. In this role, you will conduct underground utility detection surveys and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects. There is scope to take on both a Utility Surveyor level or a Senior Utility Surveyor. Key Responsibilities * Conducting underground utility detection surveys using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment * Delivering PAS 128 compliant surveys on infrastructure and construction sites * Analysing survey data and preparing information for CAD processing * Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams * Ensuring surveys are completed safely and to a high professional standard * Providing mentorship and support to junior surveyors as needed Requirements * Demonstrable experience as a Utility Surveyor within the UK * In-depth knowledge of GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment * Familiarity with PAS 128 survey standards * Capability to manage survey tasks independently on site * Valid UK driving licence What's on Offer * Company van, laptop, and necessary equipment provided * Flexible work arrangements, with the option to process from home * Local projects with Tier 1 contractors * Opportunities for career progression within the organisation How to Apply MGR Recruitment is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
