Site Manager – Retail Refurbishment Project Project Location - Suffolk (IP13) Project Duration – 11 Week Contract Start Date: 8th September Shift: Night works Our client, a multi-award-winning Tier One Main Contractor, has recently secured a major framework agreement with one of the UK's leading home improvement retailers. As part of an extensive refurbishment and upgrade programme across warehouse and retail facilities throughout the South and East of England, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to work nights to join the team on a key project in Suffolk (IP13). This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Site Manager with a strong background in fit-out, refurbishment, and live environment projects to work with a reputable contractor on a high-profile scheme. The Project The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a 11-week refurbishment project commencing on 8th September. Works on this specific scheme include: · Roof replacement works · Café refurbishment · Toilet refurbishment · Internal and external upgrades · General warehouse and retail improvement works As the site will remain open and operational throughout the project, previous experience working within a live retail, warehouse, commercial, or public-facing environment would an advantage. Key Responsibilities Oversee the night work and site operations Manage subcontractors, labour, and materials on site Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards· Maintain strong working relationships with contractors Ensure all site paperwork, reports, permits, and health & safety documentation are kept accurate and up to date Monitor programme progress and proactively resolve site issues Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks as required Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment and fit-out projects Experience managing projects within live environments or night works Strong organisational and communication skills The ability to liaise professionally and effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel Good IT skills and computer literacy, with the ability to maintain accurate site records and reports A proactive approach to health & safety and programme management Essential Qualifications SMSTS Managers CSCS Card 3-Day First Aid at Work Asbestos Awareness What's On Offer?
