Composite Inspector
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday 12:00pm – 9:00pm, Friday 10:00am – 7:00pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
TXM Recruit are currently working with an established advanced composites manufacturer who are looking to appoint an experienced Composite Inspector to join their quality team.
The role will focus on inspecting composite components and ensuring parts meet customer specifications, quality standards and required delivery timescales.
The Role
Inspect composite components against customer drawings and specifications.
Carry out dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate inspection methods.
Interrogate CAD models where required.
Complete inspection and quality documentation.
Identify and investigate quality issues and support corrective actions.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues.
Ensure parts are inspected and ready for despatch within required timescales.
Support continuous improvement of inspection processes.
Requirements
Relevant composites/manufacturing experience.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.IND5
