Service Advisor
£31,000 – £34,000 Basic Salary DOE | Up to £6,500 Bonus
Permanent | Full Time
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm
Our client, a busy and well-established automotive business, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused Service Advisor looking for a new challenge, with a competitive basic salary and a strong bonus package.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and providing a professional and friendly service.
* Booking vehicles into the workshop and accurately recording customer requirements.
* Managing customer expectations throughout the service and repair process.
* Liaising closely with Technicians and Workshop Control.
* Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle.
* Discussing additional work and repair requirements with customers.
* Obtaining authorisation for additional work where required.
* Preparing and explaining invoices on completion of work.
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating relevant systems.
* Delivering excellent customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
Your Background & Skills
* Minimum 1 year's experience as a Service Advisor.
* Previous automotive Aftersales experience is essential.
* Pinnacle DMS experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational and administration skills.
* Confident dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
* Professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
What's on Offer?
* £31,000 – £34,000 Basic Salary DOE
* Up to £6,500 bonus
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
* 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am – 1:00pm
* Company car available after 6 months.
