HV Electrical Instructor  Fancy stepping off the tools and passing on what you know instead? If you've spent years working High Voltage systems and cables, holding Authorised or Senior Authorised Person status, you'll know the toll shift patterns and call-outs can take. This role is a genuine alternative: full-time, based at a single training centre in Swindon, working with people who want to learn from someone who's actually done the job. You don't need a teaching qualification to apply. If you've got the HV experience and can explain things clearly, that's what matters training qualifications can come later, and support is there to help you get them. What you'll be doing Running practical and classroom-based training on electrical systems, HV and cable work Keeping every hands-on session safe and compliant Working one-to-one with trainees through the harder parts of the course Helping shape training content around what clients actually need on siteWhat you need Full UK driving licence Solid working knowledge of safe systems of work for HV and switchgear Genuine experience as an HV Authorised Person Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalentNice to have, not essential Background in Health Service or Defence Estates environments, issuing switching schedules and permits to work Assessor or teaching qualifications (TAQA, A1, PTLLS, AET) HNC in Electrical EngineeringYou'll be joining an established, accredited training provider with a small, experienced team, not starting from scratch. Full onboarding, ongoing development, and room to grow within a wider organisation.
