Senior Quantity Surveyor Truro £75,000 & Package We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial expertise, supporting the delivery of local landmark schemes locally. The day to day stuff… * Prepare accurate cost estimates based on consultant reports & technical information * Develop detailed project cost plans as designs progress * Produce quantities from drawings and technical documentation * Support the preparation of Contractor Proposals * Procure consultants and subcontractors * Prepare and submit applications for * Produce accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial updates * Support project mitigation and commercial recovery strategies * Attend client, consultant and project meetings * Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team What we need from you….. * Previous longevity working for a Tier 1 or large regional contractor as a Senior. * As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques * HNC / Degree in commercial management or a similar sector related course, and/or RICS Membership. * You should also have strong knowledge of company management systems including commercial and financial (Commercial Manager /COINS/Sphere) as well as proven experience of managing a team of assistant/quantity surveyors on a large contract.
