AUDIT & ACCOUNTS SENIOR Location: Devon – flexible across multiple offices Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Contract: Full-time, permanent Working: Hybrid options available A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join an established and highly regarded accountancy practice. The role offers a varied portfolio of clients, including small and medium-sized companies and charities, with the opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships. The Role You will be responsible for: Preparing statutory financial statements for limited companies and charities Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion Preparing corporation tax returns Managing your own workload and deadlines Dealing with client queries and providing a proactive service Reviewing work prepared by junior team members Coaching and supporting junior staff Contributing to wider team and internal initiatives Getting involved in networking and business development activities About You The successful candidate will ideally be: ACA or ACCA qualified Experienced in completing audits within an accountancy practice Confident preparing accounts and corporation tax returns A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior colleagues Experience with cash flow forecasts and business plans would be advantageous but is not essential.
