Location: Englefield Green, Surrey
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Carpenters for a site near Englefield Green. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools.
Duties
* Construct, install timber framing and composite boarding.
* Perform joinery tasks to create strong connections between wooden components.
* Operate hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and drills with precision.
* Utilise power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including joinery and fabrication.
* Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy materials.
