Job Description
Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a temporary ongoing project based in Hexham. The successful candidate will oversee the conversion of a former restaurant into residential flats, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Job Description
* Manage day-to-day site operations from start to finish.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
* Monitor project progress, quality, and programme deadlines.
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
* Resolve on-site issues efficiently and effectively.
* Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to specification.
* Conversion of a building into restaurant and apartments
Personal Specification
* Proven experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment, conversion, or residential construction projects.
* Valid SMSTS certificate.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Full UK driving licence preferred
