We're Hiring: Multi-Skilled Engineer 🚨🔧⚡ 📍 York 💷 £38,000 – £42,000 + Benefits 🕒 Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 🏥 Healthcare Environment We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a professional Facilities Management team supporting a busy healthcare environment in York. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical and/or electrical skills to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and fault finding across a complex site. 🏥 Working within a healthcare environment, you'll play an important role in ensuring essential building services, equipment and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational. 🔧 What You'll Be Doing: 🛠️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site. ⚙️ Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs across a range of mechanical and electrical systems. 🔍 Completing detailed fault finding and troubleshooting. 📋 Completing PPM schedules in line with SFG20 and site requirements. 🚨 Responding promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests. 🦺 Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with Health & Safety procedures. 💻 Completing maintenance records and updating the CAFM system. 🤝 Working closely with specialist contractors and other engineers. 📑 Supporting statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements. 👷‍♂️ What We're Looking For: 🔧 Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. ⚡ Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills. 🛠️ Proven experience in PPM and reactive maintenance. 📜 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. 🎓 NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 🔍 Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. 🏢 Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar environment. 🦺 Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance. 💬 Excellent communication and customer service skills. ⭐ Desirable: 🏥 Previous experience within NHS, private healthcare or another high-compliance environment. ⚙️ Experience across a broad range of mechanical, electrical and building services systems. 📋 Knowledge of SFG20 maintenance standards. 💻 Experience using CAFM systems. 💼 What's On Offer: 💷 £38,000 – £42,000 + Benefits 🕒 Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 🏥 Professional healthcare working environment. 🔧 Varied planned and reactive maintenance role. 📈 Technical development and career progression. 🎓 Ongoing training and development opportunities. 🔒 Stable, long-term opportunity. ⚡ If you're an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with 18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 looking for your next opportunity in York, we'd love to hear from you
