Refrigeration Engineer – East Midlands
Salary: Up to £49,000 + door-to-door travel
Location: Mobile – East Midlands
Hours: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join an established commercial maintenance contract covering the East Midlands.
The Role
* Mobile role, approximately 60% reactive / 40% PPM, covering servicing, maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and minor installation works.
* Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week, with start times between 7–8am and finishes between 4:30–5:30pm.
* 1 in 5 call-out rota, with call-out built into the salary and time-and-a-half paid when called out.
* Work professionally around clients and site staff, completing maintenance records and working to agreed SLAs.
* 11-hour minimum rest period between shifts.
Requirements
* F-Gas Category 1
* CO₂ refrigeration experience/qualification
* NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
* Strong commercial refrigeration maintenance and breakdown experience
* Hydrocarbon experience advantageous
* Full UK driving licence
