Job Description
Senior Chartered Building Surveyor
Industry: Property Management/ Construction
Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: 39 hours per week (8am - 5pm Mon-Thu, 8am -1pm Fri. May consider 34 hours, Monday - Thursday)
Days: Monday - Friday ( may consider Monday - Thursday)
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
Lead building surveying commissions across commercial, residential and public sector
assets.
Prepare professional reports, specifications and schedules of work.
Undertake condition surveys, defect analysis and compliance reviews.
Act as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent on a range of projects.
Support project delivery from feasibility through to completion.
Provide technical oversight and peer review for less experienced colleagues.
Contribute to the development of standards, templates and quality systems.
Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and asset
specialists.
Experience:
MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.
Strong knowledge of construction technology and building pathology.
Experience delivering contract administration and project work.
Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills.
Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving ability.
Salary: £58 - 62,000 per annum
