Service Advisor £31,307 Basic | £45,707 OTE £32,529 Basic | £46,929 OTE – Certified Permanent | Full Time Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm 1-hour unpaid lunch 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am – 2:00pm Our client, a busy and well-established main dealership, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their established Aftersales team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a professional dealership environment. Previous Service Advisor experience is not essential – our client is primarily looking for the right person with the attitude, communication skills and customer focus to succeed. You'll be joining an established team consisting of 9 Technicians, 3 Service Advisors, an Assistant Manager and Workshop Controller, with the department handling approximately 10–12 customers per day. Duties & Responsibilities * Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service. * Book vehicles into the workshop and accurately record customer requirements. * Manage customer expectations throughout the service and repair process. * Liaise closely with Technicians, Workshop Control and the wider Aftersales team. * Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles. * Identify additional work and communicate repair requirements clearly to customers. * Discuss estimates and additional work with customers and gain authorisation. * Prepare and explain invoices on completion of work. * Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all relevant systems are updated. * Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Your Background & Skills * Previous Service Advisor experience is advantageous but not essential. * Strong customer service or customer-facing experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Well organised with strong attention to detail. * Confident speaking with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone. * Able to work effectively in a busy environment. * Positive, professional and proactive attitude. * Our client is looking for the right person and attitude above all else.
