Mechanical Fitter Location: Telford Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm Pay: £13.50 per hour Are you a hands-on Mechanical Fitter with a passion for vehicle build and conversion work? The Role: As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the installation and assembly of vehicle components, working from fitting instructions and technical specifications to ensure every build meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical assembly and installation of vehicle components Fitting accessories and conversion equipment to commercial vehicles Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Working from fitting instructions and build specifications Carrying out quality checks throughout the build process Supporting a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment Collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets What We're Looking For: Previous experience in mechanical fitting, assembly or vehicle conversion A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Ability to follow technical instructions and work accurately Good communication and teamwork skills Flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills Commitment to quality workmanship and safe working practices Ideal Backgrounds: Mechanical Fitter Vehicle Fitter Vehicle Conversion Technician Automotive Technician Assembly Technician Plant Fitter Coachbuilder Mechanical Assembler What's on Offer?
