Location: Bury Salary: Up to £40,000 OTE per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Bury. Your duties will include: * Assessing repair requirements and identifying labour times * Identifying parts required and ordering where necessary * Carrying out road tests and diagnosing vehicle faults * Completing servicing, repairs and maintenance * Working across mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems * Maintaining accurate job records and recording time against repairs * Following all Health & Safety procedures * Liaising professionally with customers when required * Working closely with the wider workshop team to deliver excellent service About You The ideal candidate will have: * Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance, City & Guilds or equivalent * A recognised apprenticeship or substantial relevant experience * Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician * Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge * Full UK driving licence * Ability to use a wide range of workshop tools and equipment Around 3 years’ post-qualification experience is preferred. Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm Average working week of approximately 42 hours. There is also the option to work one full Saturday every four weeks if preferred
