Painter Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to residential or commercial properties.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming.
Apply paint, wallpaper, varnish, and other decorative finishes.
Protect furniture, floors, and other areas from paint and damage.
Mix and match colours as required.
Maintain painting tools and equipment in good condition.
Complete work to a high standard while meeting agreed deadlines.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience as a painter or decorator.
Good knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
