Job Description
Connect2Dudley are recruiting 4 candidates for Street Scene Team Leader roles across the Dudley borough, covering a range of essential environmental and highway maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out thorough litter picking and street cleansing across assigned areas
Investigate, report and resolve incidents of fly-tipping
Remove weeds and maintain verges on public highways
Respond to and resolve ad-hoc public complaints in a timely and professional manner
Maintain high standards of work and public presentation at all times
Work as part of a team to cover designated locations: Dudley, Sedgley, Coseley, Stourbridge and Halesowen
Additional Responsibilities - Team Leader Level
Supervise, lead and support the operational team, allocating daily tasks, routes and priorities across the Dudley borough; ensure work is completed to required standards and schedules
Monitor service quality, inspect completed work, identify areas for improvement, and report on performance, backlogs and emerging issues to management
Provide on-site guidance, to team members; promote safe working practices, enforce health & safety compliance, and conduct regular safety checks
Coordinate responses to priority reports, complaints and fly-tipping incidents; escalate complex or high-profile cases, and act as the primary point of contact for residents in the field
Oversee equipment, vehicles, ensure proper maintenance, reporting of defects, and safe use of plant, machinery and protective clothing
Record and report operational data including work completed, resources used, incidents, and service requests and maintain accurate daily logs and administrative recordsThe right candidate MUST hold a valid driving license.
Rate of pay: £14.82
Weekend availability is required for the role.
