Nursery Room Leader

Room Leader - Nursery | Middlesbrough £15.00-£16.00 per hour | Full-Time Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step into a Room Leader position? We're currently recruiting for a fantastic nursery in the Middlesbrough area looking for a passionate, confident and experienced Room Leader to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who wants to take the next step in their career, lead a team and make a real difference to children's learning, development and wellbeing. The Role As Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring children receive high-quality care, learning and development within a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. You will be responsible for: * Leading and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners * Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities * Supporting children's individual learning and development * Ensuring strong EYFS practice throughout the room * Maintaining excellent safeguarding and welfare standards * Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues * Completing observations, assessments and planning * Supporting and developing other members of the team * Creating an exciting and inclusive environment where children can thrive We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: * Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification * Previous nursery or early years experience * Previous Room Leader or senior practitioner experience is desirable * Strong knowledge of the EYFS * Excellent communication and leadership skills * A genuine passion for working with young children * A reliable, proactive and positive approach * A strong understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing Why Apply? 💰 £15.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience 📍 Middlesbrough area ⏰ Full-time hours 🌱 Opportunity to develop your leadership career 🤝 Supportive and welcoming nursery environment ⭐ Chance to make a genuine impact on children's development 📈 Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate If you're an experienced Early Years professional looking for a rewarding Room Leader opportunity in Middlesbrough, we'd love to hear from you!
