Interaction Engineering  St Neots PAY or CIS  Mechanical Fitter  Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a range of industries and are looking for a skilled individual who takes pride in their workmanship and attention to detail. The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations Conduct inspections and testing of equipment Work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to deliver successful outcomes Maintain a clean and organised working environment Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar engineering role Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team environment Full UK driving licence (preferred/essential – amend as required) Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeships are advantageous What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Overtime opportunities Company pension scheme Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities Supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting engineering projects If you are a reliable, hardworking Mechanical Fitter looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
