Mechanical / HVAC Engineer | Shoreditch | £47,500 | Monday-Friday | Commercial Building Looking to work on a technically challenging commercial site with a supportive engineering team? Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a leading Building Services provider to recruit a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer for a landmark commercial development in Shoreditch. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team, working on a prestigious commercial building with exposure to a wide range of mechanical and HVAC plant. What's on Offer * £47,500 Basic Salary * Monday-Friday * Static commercial site in Shoreditch * 1 in 4 call out (£100 standby payment) * Overtime opportunities * Company pension * Ongoing technical training and development * Genuine career progression The Role Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and fault finding across a modern commercial building, ensuring all mechanical and HVAC systems operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) * Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding * Maintain and repair HVAC systems * Service chillers, split systems and associated plant * Carry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors * Monitor BMS alarms and investigate faults * Complete maintenance reports and logbooks * Escort specialist subcontractors when required * Ensure statutory compliance and health & safety standards are maintained * Deliver a high standard of service to the client Requirements * Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3) * Valid F-Gas Certification * Strong background in commercial building services maintenance * Experience maintaining chillers, split systems and HVAC plant * Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Client-facing communication skills * A proactive approach and willingness to work as part of a team Whether you're currently a Mechanical Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer or Building Services Engineer, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Building Services provider offering technical exposure, long-term stability and genuine career development.
