Assembly Technician (windows/doors)

Window and Doors Fabricator / Window and Door Assembler Location: Ealing Salary: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Job Type: Full-time Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Overview On behalf of one of our established clients, we are seeking an experienced window assembler and door assembler to join their production team as a window and doors fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality windows and doors in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. As a dedicated assembler, this role requires the ability to work independently, provide support to less experienced assembler team members, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace for overall window and door production. Main Duties and Responsibilities * Window and Door Assembly: Perform precise window assembly and door assembly using hand and power tools according to technical specifications; apply silicone and gaskets accurately to every window and door during fabrication. * Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and follow detailed technical drawings for custom windows and doors. * Quality Control: Inspect each completed window and door for defects prior to sign-off; identify and report any faults during the window and door assembly process. * Independent Work: Manage daily task loads as a lead assembler to meet target output for windows and doors. * Team Support: Assist and guide junior window and door fabricator staff with complex assembler tasks and troubleshooting. * Health and Safety: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies while fabricating windows and doors; maintain a clean work area. * Forklift Operations: Assist with moving raw materials used for window and door fabrication (valid forklift certification required). * Documentation: Sign off on completed window and door panels to confirm quality standards are met. Skills and Qualifications * Proven experience as a window assembler, door assembler, or general window and doors fabricator. * Proficiency in using hand and power tools for window and door manufacturing. * Strong ability to read drawings for custom window and door specifications. * High attention to detail for window and door quality control. Working Conditions Factory environment focused on window and door assembly, with standard machinery, noise, and dust. PPE is fully provided
