Mechanical Fitter
First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter
on behalf of our client
This is a great opportunity for a skilled fitter with experience working on industrial
machinery and mechanical equipment.
You will be responsible for:
* Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of components.
* Planned and preventative maintenance.
* Fault-finding, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
* Working on machinery including lathes, milling machines, grinders and radial arm
drills.
* Ensuring machinery is maintained to a safe and efficient standard.
* Working both independently and as part of an experienced engineering team.
We are looking for someone with:
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
* Strong mechanical fitting and maintenance experience.
* Experience working with industrial/manufacturing machinery.
* Good mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A strong understanding of health & safety.
* Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Rate of Pay: from £16PH Standard Hours 7am-4.30pm Mon-Thu 7am-2.30pm Friday
