Job details
A1 Jobs are currently recruiting for reliable and motivated 3.5T Van Driver to join our client’s team on a temporary basis basis. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections
* Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently
* Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices for tracking
* Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
* Minimum 2 years experience driving a 3.5T vehicle
* No more than 6 points on licence. No DD`s or DR`s
* Good knowledge of local and national road networks
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Physically fit – some lifting may be requiredWork weekend
* Work any five days out of seven
Rates of pay
* Day rate £13.35
* Overtime Rate £20.02
