Job Description
Are you a building surveying looking for an opportunity in fire? Do you have existing fire experience and what to learn more?   A leading and well established multi-discipline consultancy is looking to appoint a building surveyor to their London offices.   The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio, with a strong focus on public sector, commercial and fire remediation/cladding projects. Work is predominately based in Zone 1 & 2.   Benefits Salary £45,000 – £65,000 Car allowance £5,000 Continued career progression and development Hybrid working 3 days a week in office Social/networking events Discounted gym memberships Professional memberships fees paid Plus additional benefits  The Role You’ll be involved in delivering projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and wider project teams. Project management and contract administration Building surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation Managing refurbishment and remediation projects Supporting fire remediation and cladding programmes Managing contractors, budgets, programmes and risk Building strong relationships with public sector and commercial clients Supporting the wider Building Surveying team and contributing to business growth  About You We’re looking for a project-focused Building Surveyor with proven experience delivering refurbishment, remediation or construction projects. BSc in Building Surveying MRICS or MCIOB qualified, or actively working towards either accreditation Experienced in project delivery and Contract Administration Confident working directly with clients and contractors Technically strong with good commercial awareness Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively Experience across public sector, commercial property, fire remediation or cladding would be particularly advantageous.   The Opportunity   This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing consultancy where you can take ownership of projects, develop your client exposure and progress your career within an established Building Surveying team.   If you're a project focused Building Surveyor looking for your next challenge in London, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation.
