Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2) - Rugeley John Taylor School The Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of Rugeley John Taylor School for a Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2) to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for childcare and play-based learning to support the delivery of a high-quality wraparound provision for Nursery and Reception-aged children. Role Details Position: Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2) Grade: To be confirmed Hours: 22.5 hours per week Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 9:00am 3:00pm to 6:00pm About the Role Working alongside the Wraparound Supervisor, you will support a small group of approximately 10 children per session, helping to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and thrive. Responsibilities Support the delivery of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities. Help supervise children during breakfast and after-school sessions. Encourage positive behaviour and social development. Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Follow all safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures. Contribute to a caring and inclusive environment. Essential Requirements Recognised Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or Early Years. Experience working with children in a childcare, education or play setting. Positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Desirable Experience working with Nursery or Reception-aged children. Knowledge of EYFS. Paediatric First Aid qualification.
