Job Title: EHS Coordinator (H&S) Location: Basildon Salary: £35,000-£40,000pa Hours of work: day shift Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 / Friday 8:00-13:00 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent AMLR are looking for an EHS Coordinator to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment. Key responsibilities for EHS Coordinator: * Support compliance with EHS legislation, company standards and site procedures. * Conduct workplace inspections, internal and external audits and risk assessments. * Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. * Coordinate EHS training, inductions and awareness activities. * Maintain EHS records, reports and performance data. * Support emergency preparedness, fire safety and occupational health programmes. * Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safe working practices. * Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements for EHS Coordinator: * NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH or equivalent * Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment processes. * Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO50001 is desirable. * You should have sincere concern for the health and wellness of all employees.
