The Role As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school by: Delivering engaging learning activities across the curriculum Supporting teachers to meet the needs of all pupils Leading small-group intervention sessions in core subjects Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs Covering lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towards Have experience working in a primary school environment Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare Contract Details Location: DT9 Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until the end of the academic year Hours: 8:20am - 3:15pm Pay: From £125 per day Contract Type: Long-term supply / Temporary To Apply, You Must: Have the Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) Provide two professional references covering the past two years Have recent safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this if required) Ready to Take the Next Step?
