Plant Fitter – Blasting & Coatings
📍 Govan, Glasgow | Construction | Full-time
Denholm Industrial Services are recruiting an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team in Govan, Glasgow, supporting the maintenance and safe operation of site plant and blasting/coating equipment in a fast-paced construction environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical expertise who takes pride in maintaining high safety and performance standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
>Maintain and repair site plant and equipment
>Carry out preventative maintenance and PUWER inspections
>Ensure safe operation of blasting and coating equipment
>Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
>Support commissioning of new equipment
>Assist with ISO and health & safety compliance
What We’re Looking For
>Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic
>Mechanical qualification or time-served apprenticeship
>Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery
>Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
>Ability to work independently and under pressure
>Good understanding of health & safety standards
