Job Description
Mechanical Fitter
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent night shift basis.
Location: Doncaster DN11
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotational shift days and afternoons
6am -2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm
Salary: £ 20.96 / hr (£43,590 per annum)
Key Responsibilities:

Install, assemble and fit mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery.

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
*
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
*
Carry out electrical wiring, connections and basic fault finding.
*
Assemble, align and adjust mechanical components.
*
Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
*
Carry out inspections and testing of equipment.
*
Identify potential faults and report issues to the appropriate person.
*
Work alongside other engineers and maintenance personnel to minimise equipment downtime.
*
Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
*
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and work carried out.
*
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times
